**Non-Academic/Non-UCR customers must pay for the estimated facility use needs prior to use**

  • Abuse of the booking system, or abuse of the instruments/facilities themselves, will incur an $80 surcharge per incident. This includes but is not limited to improperly using the google calendars; leaving equipment on/not shut down properly, leaving a work area dirty, or leaving equipment without its dust cover on.
  • Losing a FOB will result in an $80 replacement fee. This will be in addition to any fees the department might charge the lab.
  • Canceling or rescheduling the use of an instrument must be done more than 24hrs prior to the event. If canceling/rescheduling occurs less than 24hrs prior to the event, the original time booked on the instrument will be charged in full.
