There will be stem cell presentations at the Long Night of Arts & Innovation this year. The event takes place October 8th from 6 PM until midnight in downtown Riverside on the mall. Speakers from UCR will include Dr. Martin Garcia-Castro, Dr. Huinan Liu, Dr. Prue Talbot, Barbara Davis, Crystal Hua. The UCR Stem Cell Core will be available for a virtual tour. Many topics will be covered including stem cell research at UCR, adult stem cells, pluripotent stem cells, and stem cells and Huntington's disease.
